UNIT 6-- Assingment 1

NO, it is not okay to get involved into other people's business. I feel like it is not okay because, people need privacy and secret to themselves. I will admit that I have got into people’s business, but not for the wrong reasons. I’m not saying there are right ways, but what I meant was that it was for good intensions. There was a time that my friend was dating this older guy, and of course she was blind and didn’t see the reason in why he wanted to be with her. I had heard him talking to friend, and what he said to her was the same exactly thing that was on my mind. He told his friend he just wanted to sleep with my friend and then leave her. I ended up telling her but she didn’t want to believe me. She got pregnant after a few weeks and guesses what; he left to and went on to another girl. Now I know people need to mind their own business at all times and if you know something they don’t, let them find out on their own.

The Richest Person

Bill Gates as I heard of is the richest man in our country. I feel like I should envy him for it, but i dont. I mean at times I think, why can't I have all that money instead of him. Bur, that is only when I don't have money. When I have money I don't envy him or anybody else because I know that I work hard for what I have and earn so that makes me feel good about myself. I feel like he also did earn that money himself because the way he got rich in the first place was how he created the microsoft software. So doesn't that count as if he did the works himself. I think so. In the stories I have heard before were that he does help people and doesn't keep the money to himself. So that is a good thing, at least he is not stingy! I rather have him share the money with the poor and sick then with ordinary wealthy people.

Assingment #1 Unit 4

A while ago I was involved in a fight with a girl who once was my friend. The fight was caused honestly by me, and for my own reasons. No guy problem, no family problem, but because she was just getting me mad. I did try to avoid this fight, but she just kept running her mouth that I just got to the point that led us to fight. The outcome of this event was that her parents pressed charges on me and I ended up with probation for one year. Not only that but the fight cause us to hate each other more that everything I see her I want to say something. I learned that it is not worth fighting someone that no matter how bad they get beat up they will always run their mouths.

Assingment #1 Unit 3 Exciting and Painful

Growing up can be both excting and painful. First it can be exciting because you will have more freedom as a teenager, most trust with your parents, and you will be more independent. Also because you will have your first job, first love, and practically your first best moment. Growing up is always sometime you should enjoy and value. It can also be painful beacuse uou are growing apart from your parents, you arel leaving your childhood behind, and most importanly because you then learn how life really is. Life is not pretty in pink, it is not a perfect world. Their are things that will make you feel depressed, things that will make you shed tears. I think that Growing up is one of the hardest things ever beacuse you never know what will come, whether it is good or bad.

Assingment #7 Unit 2 Breaking Law Justified

The Americans broke most of the laws that they didn't agree with. when certain people are geting treated unfair just beacuse of who they are, something must be done to stop that. That is what the Americans did, they put a stop to the unfair things they were going through. They had to put the Britains in their place, and make sure they were treated the same.

Alot of colonist broke many of the rules that were set by the British. They did this because they wanted to be independent and be treated with the same rights. Britain was practically taking away the natural rights of each American. They were even taxing them without their consent. That was one of the main reasons why the Americans also broke law to justify. Britain was sending their British soldiers to each home of an American to stay their, but not only that, they also had to eat of the Americans money and home. When the Boston Tea Party came, the americans dressed up, and threw the tea into Boston Harbor, since the tea was going to be taxed. Lots of other things happened which ended up leding to war, which them the Americans won.

Back further before the American Revolution, some people were free but not all. Let's just say that white people were free to do what ever they wanted when ever they wanted.Blacks were not. They were not allowed to drink from same fountains as white. They were not allowed to attend the same school as white. They even had to use different bathrooms at that time. On of the major thing was that blacks would ride in back of the bus, and were absolutely not permitted in the front. A women by the name of Rosa Parks once boarded into the Montgomery City bus, she sat were she wasn't suppose to. When a white man boarded the bus, and the driver told her to move so that the white man could sit she refused. She was arrested, but after that things changed the Civil Rights movement was formed. Also with the help of Dr. King Jr.

I feel that sometimes breaking the law is a good thing. It might change something that is unfair to alot of certain people. Then again now a days if you break a law nothing will change, it might but what are the possibilities? Did both the Americans and Rosa Parks do the right thing? I think so, because if it changed the live of many and it's affective today then yes, it was a good thing. Thanks to all of them we now have freedom and were are not treated different for our colors.
